AMPI Puerto Vallarta
There are three AMPI chapters here in the Puerto Vallarta and greater Banderas Bay area: AMPI Puerto Vallarta, AMPI Riviera Nayarita and AMPI Compostela.
What is AMPI?
AMPI: La Associacion Mexicana de Profsionales Inmobiliarios
Puerto Vallarta AMPI and the other chapters in the Banderas Bay are part of the larger
national AMPI organization. AMPI stands for Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios, which translates to The Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals. AMPI is the national professional realtors association in Mexico and is a sister organization to (and works closely with) the National Association of Realtors (NAR) in the United States. Since 1956, AMPI has provided a strict code of ethics fo
r realtors in Mexico, set standards of conduct and has always strived to bring higher and higher levels of professionalism to the Mexican Real Estate industry.
The AMPI chapters here in the Banderas Bay are notable for their ability to work closely together… in fact, no other AMPI chapters in Mexico have had the success in creating the cohesive atmosphere of cooperation and professionalism as we have had here in the Banderas Bay AMPI Chapters. The Puerto Vallarta AMPI, Riviera Nayarita AMPI and the Compostela AMPI Chapters have all committed to work together in an ongoing program of education as well as continual improvement of individual Real Estate Agents, Brokerages, and the AMPI organization as a whole, all with the goal of providing excellent service to our clients and to guarantee that Puerto Vallarta remains a strong, vibrant real estate market and a safe place to invest.
Our broker here at Pacific Coast Buyer’s Representative & Real Estate, Xiomara Millan, is proud to be a member of the Riviera Nayarita AMPI chapter and is deeply involved with the organization. She is a member of the Honor and Justice Committee for our chapter as well as a member of the Education Committee, where she is always involved with the continuing education programs organized by the 3 member chapters of the Banderas Bay AMPI organization.
